Our Vision
Help students realize the practical use of AI outside of LLMs, gain development experience, entrepreneurship skills, and the opportunity to reshape education. The AIDEA Cup will be an annual event, creating a lasting legacy of innovation.
Speakers
Sit back and relax as guest speakers from Stanford and experienced entrepreneurs take you on a tech journey–where everyone gets to join the conversation.
Engagement
Our team invites you to step closer to the future of technology and innovation. We are driven to help you transform your ideas into real impact.
Format
- 5-minute pitch per team, 3-minute Q&A with judges (8 mins total)
- Teams present in two blocks, with a short break in between
What You'll Be Pitching
Participants will pitch an AI-powered solution to a real-world problem, focusing on the idea, impact, and use of AI — not how it's coded or built.
Important Pitch Rule
❗ You are NOT pitching how to build the AI.
❗ You are pitching what the AI does and why it matters.
What Judges Will Evaluate
- • Is the problem real? Does this address a genuine issue faced by people, communities, or industries?
- • Is the AI use realistic? Is AI an appropriate and believable solution for this problem?
- • Is the impact clear? Are the benefits and outcomes easy to understand and meaningful?
- • Does AI add value compared to a normal app or system? Does AI make the solution smarter, faster, or more effective than a non-AI alternative?
